Grandchildren

It's hard to believe that in less than a month I'll have my 5th grandchild! Where has time gone? On the same note, my 5th child, my baby, will turn 20 in less than a month! No more teenagers!!! That's just crazy! Mark & I were talking just the other day about the fact that Riley is 6 1/2. In another 6 1/2 years we'll have a teenage grandchild, also mind blowing! It's just life getting away from us. We think we have so much time on our hands when we're young and even when our children are small we think they're going to stay that way forever! Not so. I miss the days of my children being little, but I've come to the conclusion that's why God gives us grandchildren. He knows we need to just enjoy those sweet little blessings whose lives we wished away when they were our responsibilities. Now that they're our children's children we can just enjoy them, spoil them, love on them and know that in the end, momma & daddy will be the ones to clean all their messes, potty train them, discipline them and be financially responsible for them! Yay! Grandparenting is FUN!!!
